Impariamo a conoscere l’arte della cucina italiana!

E' terminato ieri il corso di formazione “Iniziamo a conoscere la cucina italiana e l’arte del riciclo alimentare” organizzato da Consorzio Consolida di Lecco in collaborazione con Fondazione Luigi Clerici – CFP di Merate per 10 giovani ragazze da noi accolte.

Italian course for moms!

Progetto Itaca, in cooperation with CPIA Fabrizio de André in Lecco and “A. Stoppani” school, organized a specific Italian course to allow all mums hosted in Progetto Itaca to learn Italian.

Working together CasAmica!

On Saturday July 8, the boys hosted by our reception centre in Valmadrera cooperated with CasAmica and Germanedo district (in Lecco) volunteers. The purpose was to upgrade a natural area near Via della Rovinata in order to create a new playground and a picnic area. In this way, both the people living in the district and the CasAmica patients with their families will enjoy some peaceful moments in this area.

Inclusion pass also through school!

School was a main role both for minors and their families in the inclusion process. Progetto Itaca education staff always chooses to include our guest minors in any school as soon as possible.

Inclusion through Bonacina School

Progetto Itaca promtes integration into the school environment for kids asylum seekers. Indeed, small and proactive environments for helping these migrants hosted are favoured in our Lecco's facilities.

Sadat’s story

Sadat is a 29-year-old Ghanaian man. He arrived in Italy in December 2016 and Progetto Itaca welcomed him as an asylum seeker. In January 2017, he requested for voluntary return assisted after her mother death. The return became his only way to keep his family together.

Relocation to Finland

Zenebu and the family of Seleme ed Ezra leave for northern Europe to reach Finland. From Eritrea, through Italy, coming in Finlandia.

Abeba goes to Holland

Mother, woman, Eritrean with two daughters Salim and Lidia at her back. One certainty to chase: arriving in Holland to be reunited with her brother that lives in the land of tulips since long ago. One procedure to follow: relocation. What we are talking about? Relocation, in Italian “ricollocazione”..
