Progetto Itaca present at the football Marathon!

The football Marathon ended on Sunday, July 9 at the Rigamonti Ceppi stadium after 36 hours of non stop football playing, generating satisfaction and enthusiasm for the success of the event. A lot of teams, different nationalities, more than 1200 players: all together for a common objective, that is solidarity!
A gesture of solidarity to support Telethon in fundraising for the research and to help people from Accumuli, a city damaged by hearthquake in 2016.

The 74 teams involved wore the colors of Lecco: blue as the lake and light blue as the sky. The result? 146 points for the light blue side and 114 for the blue one.

The 5th edition of the football marathon saw the partecipation of a team which members come from Progetto Itaca. All our boys said to be very happy for reaching, together with other people, an important objective! They played against Kosovo in Valsassina team during the 9th hour of the competition winning by 7 to 0! Good job guys! 🙂
