Progetto Itaca, in cooperation with CPIA Fabrizio de André in Lecco and “A. Stoppani” school, organized a specific Italian course to allow all mums hosted in Progetto Itaca to learn Italian.
Yesterday, Thursday November 9, the first lesson took place. It’s still a trial stage but with dedication we think the project could be successful. We would like to thank the stuff of “A. Stoppani” school and of CPIA in Lecco for their support and for participating to the initiative.
Mums will have classes with a teacher working for CPIA and, in the meanwhile, their children will be hosted in an adjacent relax room where voluntary babysitters will take care of them. Children are all babies (from a few months to 2 years) and therefore it is complicated for mums to follow courses and to learn Italian.
Classes will take place on Tuesday and on Thursday, from 14:30 to 17:30 so that it’s easier for mums to organize themselves.
